Marquette dance instructor discusses her DWTS experience
Marquette Mining Journal | Local dancer meets the ‘stars’
[Camilla Mingay] and a few other locals offered Ohno some preliminary advice on dancing when he was in speedskating training in Marquette back in February, shortly before it was announced Ohno was part of the cast of this edition of “Dancing.”One of Ohno’s coaches from the United States Olympic Education Center in Marquette showed his support for the skater’s dancing in a special way, Mingay said.
“(Speedskating) coach Jimmy Jang would tag along to Apolo’s dance classes and help him practice his steps during dryland training,” Mingay said. “Jimmy would attend every class with him and stand right next to Apolo to learn the steps with him.”

Apolo on Larry King
Apolo will be a guest on Larry King Live (on CNN) tonight.
AIRS: 9-10pm ET
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/larry.king.live/
[update 10:45PM ET] From the flurry of comments I see that Apolo wasn't on Larry King tonight. So sorry for the false alarm! Esp. since those who watched had to sit suffer through Paris Hilton, of all the horrifying things.
[update 2 - Sat 5/12] AAO.com sent an update there was a last-minute change in Apolo's appearance on Larry King - it will now take place next week. I recommend checking the schedule announcements on Apolo's web site for confirmation when the new date is announced.

MSNBC | Billy Ray heads for the hills on ‘Dancing’
In the next backstage interview session, Samantha calmly asked Apolo whether he was feeling confident after getting such high scores, and Apolo started to calmly answer, only to have Ian Ziering very much not-calmly lean over and choke him. While the gesture was made in fun, Ian clearly did surprise Apolo, to the point where it took the guy a little time to recover. It’s not every day Steve Sanders tries to kill you, even if he’s kidding.
Wow - somehow I totally missed that last night.
