Junko's Nikkei Concerns pics & report
Apologies for the delay in posting. Many thanks to Junko for sharing her thoughts and photos from her experience at last week's Nikkei Concerns event:
Apolo is presented with Japanese Mizuhiki art
Junko writes: The weather of Seattle in early June was perfect. It was dry, sunny, breezy with occasional rain. The dinner with Apolo and Yuki of Nikkei Concerns was also perfect. It was well organized, well prepared, friendly with warm-hearted people who meant well and delicious dinner in relaxed atmosphere.
Apolo and Yuki looked relaxed all through the reception and the dinner that followed. They were sweet, gracious, patience and accommodating. Apolo looked fabulous as he always would in this kind of out-of-ice party. I was one of the content attendees of the event for the evening.
It sounds a bit of an award winning speeach but I have to thank Apolo, Yuki and people who shared the dinner table with me. They all contributed to add another hot page (102 degree Fahrenheit) to my memory book!

Speedskating robot
Citroen UK has introduced a new commercial for its C4 model which features a speed skating robot! Former British skater and 1994 Olympic bronze medalist Nicky Gooch was used as a model to capture the robot's motion. You can watch the piece online here (click 'see the TV ads' at bottom left).
