Apolo on TV
We Made National TV Today!
Apolo mentioned Ohno Zone this morning on the CBS Early Show!
Q: With everything happening in your life, is it hard to focus on skating?
AAO: No, not for me. As soon as I get on the ice, I feel like this is the place for me. I've had so much support from my father. Short track speedskating has come a long way since Salt Lake City. We have the help of a lot of fans who provide information to people who don't know anything about short track. My web site's coming out next month, which will be unbelievable for short track.... Another web site that people can go check is www.ohnozone.net.

Stand Up for U.S. Short Track
Update: Stand Up for Short Track
+ The Stand Up for Short Track petition has surpassed 500 signatures as of Saturday, May 24!
+ According to a spokesperson for Apolo Ohno, Apolo is more than willing to discuss the coach and other matters with USS in writing. A high-ranking USS official refused his latest request to do so, made during a conference call on Tuesday, May 13. In addition, a number of athletes, including Apolo, have written to USS in response to the coaching situation. Others have tried to contact members of the federation but have not received correspondence.
+ On Tuesday, May 20, US Speedskating announced the coaches for the upcoming season in Colorado Springs will be Li Yan and Tony Goskowicz. It's not clear whether either one will be head coach.
