Short Track on TechTV
Short Track on TechTV May 2 & 3
If any of you get TechTV, there is a segment on short track and technology in sports on their program 'Performance.' This airs on TechTV today at 2pm ET and tomorrow at 7pm ET. The segment features Canada's Mathieu Turcotte. To see if you get TechTV in your area, click here.
"Speed skater Mathieu Turcotte won gold in the team relay in the 2002 Olympic games. He says he expects to win at least three golds by 2006, but success depends on how well he fights the forces of resistance. With a video camera and a computer, scientists can help Turcotte identify a mistake that can affect propulsion, whether it's the position of his arms or the angle of his legs."
